We have had some nice sunny weather of late and after the jobs were done on Saturday we went for a kayak trip from Poolewe.
As we headed for the open Loch it got a bit windy and rough so we stayed around the bay and investigated the Pool House Hotel and the river Ewe which enters the Loch here.
We passed the big white house on the shore which is in the Inverewe Gardens and also called Inverewe House. It's getting dark earlier now so we were back on shore by 8pm.
