Snow's getting heavier

Blue skies an hour ago, now it's the last of the sunshine.
Freezing fog coming down the hill

Lots more snow coming down.

Still snowing

Jamilla wants someone to come out & play
Lovely, from indoors.

Man at work.

More snow

So glad that we spent time clearing the snow away yesterday!!! Lumpy
Looking pretty

Across the astroturf.............did manage to get out for a walk today as the new snow was crunchy to walk on - unlike the sheet ice of the last few days. Jamilla joined us as far as "Farm & Garden" to get some much needed, bird food.
We're all but isolated now - the road north is closed, trains aren't running from Inverness, A9 is closed south of Inverness & even the airport is only open sporadically. Shy Nervous

Sunday run

Pleased to be back at Gairloch after a slippery return from Badachro.
Across a frozen Badachro bay.

It's cold when the sea freezes.

Sunday run to Badachro

Frozen Badachro bay, just as the rain started. We'd left Gairloch in the sunshine & the temperature above freezing.
The bridge across the stream where it leaves Loch Bad a' Crotha

Icicles at the side of the road before Sheildaig Lodge.

Saturday walk in the hills

Shieldaig bay in the foreground, Skye in the background & the Isle of Rhona in the centre.

Saturday walk in the hills

Towards Loch Ewe, Isle Ewe in the mid distance, Aultbea & Mellon Charles in the background.
Torridons.

A frozen Loch Airigh a' Phuill.
