A mild & pleasant day. Andy has undercoated the windows, fixed batons onto the lower fence (directed by Jamilla) & umpteen other jobs as well. Margot dossed in bed reading the paper before walking Penny along Laide beach enjoying the low tide, bird life & views of the snow-capped mountains to the north. At one time, we disturbed a curlew which circled us, beak wide open & screamed curlew curses at us before resting on a distant rock & glaring angrily in our direction. Surprise of the day was arriving at the jetty to see Madge (86 years young), hurtling down the road aided by her 3 wheeled zimmer -which fortunately has brakes- declaring that she'd forgotten how far it was (3/4 mile) from her house. Thankfully she was able to make it back up the hill & along the road to home.
