Ice-bound in the frozen north

Good job we hadn't planned to travel today as there are severe weather warnings due to poor conditions on the roads & it's forecast to drop as low as -8c tonight. The school bus from the south & east was cancelled this morning so the kids will enjoy a day off & workmen who had travelled over, spoke of many cars off the road near Kinlochewe, warning not to travel unless it was essential.
